A whistleblower also alleged public humiliation of staff, creating a toxic workplace environment.

The case gained urgency following the suicide of an employee at a Ministry of Labor agency. Addressing the Legislative Yuan, KMT lawmaker Hsu Chiao-hsin called for accountability and presented evidence from the whistleblower. Deputy Minister Tien assured lawmakers of strict action if misconduct is proven, emphasizing that the case's resolution is vital for safeguarding Taiwan's image and supporting the victim.
